Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome to St John's EYC Blog!

I pray that you all have a great Thanksgiving week. Thanks to everyone who volunteered at Metropolitan Ministries last Friday (pics below)--you are AWESOME!

Our first group of pictures are from Friday's Holiday Tent volunteering!

No EYC this Sunday (11/26), but on Sunday, December 3rd St John’s EYC will meet from 3:30-5 p.m. (instead of 4:30-6 p.m.)—still including dinner—so that the youth group can attend St John’s Lessons and Carols at 5 p.m. that evening in the church! You don't want to miss it!

Would you like to serve on the St John’s EYC Mission Trip this summer? Parents and Youth are invited to the Mission Trip Information Meeting on Tuesday, December 5th from 7-8 p.m. in Discovery House (918 S Orleans Ave)! Check out a quick preview video of the trip:

We will be serving in Chattanooga, TN from June 2-9, 2018. Our free days will include a Braves game, whitewater rafting, and spending the night in a cave! The Mission Trip will be open to current 6th-12th graders, and you can sign up at the meeting!

We have a St John’s EYC Instagram! Please click here to follow us, and tell your friends!

Our second set of photos show some of our shelving volunteers!

We still need parent volunteers for our EYC Dinners! Our goal would be to cover each week with a different family providing the meal for 15-20 people. You are welcome to turn in receipts for reimbursement. Sign up here!

Random Holiday: Today (11/21) is World Hello Day! HELLO!

Winter Jam (an annual Christian Concert Tour) is coming to Tampa's Amalie Arena on Saturday, January 13th--and St John's EYC is going! Click here for more info on the tour. My favorite Winter Jam artist is comedian John Crist. Check out the video below--hilarious!

The cost is $15 per person, and friends are welcome! Please let me know if you'd like to sign up.

The last pics include a shot from Sunday's EYC (Sumo Wrestling!), and a group shot from Metro Ministries. Remember that God loves you, and so do I :)!
